Chirayu – Multi specialty 100 bed hospital providing quality and affordable services
Chirayu National Hospital and Medical Institute (Chirayu) is a multi-specialty 100 bed hospital strategically located the prime location in Kathmandu. It provides health care services with an infrastructure on par with the best facility in the country such as CT scan that can perform up to 128 slices (tomographic cross-sectional images) per rotation, hip replacement and digitally transforming healthcare.
Chirayu commenced its operation in December 2007 as a clinic hospital, but it got converted to a 55-bed hospital in 2013 and now it is operating with 100 beds offering both outpatient and inpatient services with 45 different services through 24 departments.
With Dolma’s proceeds, Chirayu will establish new departments such as Mother and Child Unit, NICU, Neurology Centre, Hyperacute Stroke Centre, Satellite hubs, Critical care unit, in-house lab and have their own RO (reverse osmosis machines) to carry out hemodialysis services. It also plans to secure certifications like National Accreditation Board for Hospital and Healthcare Provider.
